Welcome to WOOLAMBIA, a family run farm in the northern Taconics region of west central
Vermont. Our small flock of registered Icelandic and Romney sheep produce high
quality fleeces which are prized by hand spinners and crafters alike. We also sell some lovely
fiber-related products such as hand-woven rugs and tote bags, knitted and felted purses, woolen "pottery",
hand-spun yarns, and oh so many other spinning accessories. The tradition of Vermont is one of small
farms supplying the highest quality products directly to local markets, and we strive to continue that
tradition.
We are in the process of designing our site so stay tuned as we
add product and some handy tips on processing and dyeing fiber, warping looms, and sharing a little
of what we are doing on a daily basis.
THE SPIN CYCLE
The NHSWGA Sheep and Wool Festival is the second
outing we've taken with our combination exercise bike and spinning wheel (which we've dubbed the
"Spin Cycle"). It really is a great conversation starter!
